Artist Statement

I work best with couples willing to do a trust fall. My photographs are guided by a gut feeling, and my expertise is in paying attention. I aim to be a source of calm for my couples on their wedding day; I’ve trained myself to be sensitive to shifting family dynamics because emotions run high and being photographed is vulnerable enough. I am an introvert so my approach to photographs does tend to be gentler and quieter than most; but I’m a risk taker through and through with my shots while still doing my best to read a room and know when to step back and give a moment dignity and privacy. True-to-life colors and a tight curation are my priorities when delivering a final product & most importantly, I never walk into a wedding day with my own expectations; it’s your day.
