Aly Hansen is a film photographer located in New York City photographing weddings and city hall elopements documentary style, on film.

Aly Hansen is a queer New York City documentary wedding photographer by way of Virginia whose colorful & punchy film photographs put an emphasis on the quick moving & often weird moments that make up a wedding day. Primarily working with vintage film, she approaches the day as a photojournalist would; arriving empty (avoiding bias) & letting empathy, intuition, and tenderness guide her candid photographs. She has been described by guests & couples as “calming” and “everywhere all at once.”
